UCLL often participates in special events throughout the year. Make sure to check back often as different events will be highlighted here.
Our 2009 Scholarship Benefit Luncheon held on October 29 at the Ann Arbor City Club was a wonderful success. Director Dr. Holly Craig highlighted new initiatives at the Center and the event featured very moving testimonials from former client Ellery Mayleben, UMAP spouse Nicki Wilson, and Preschool and Communication Therapy (PACT) mother Michelle Kees. Over 110 people were in attendance, 57 who heard about the work of the Center for the first time. The benefit raised both awareness about UCLL’s speech-language therapy services and scholarship dollars to assist clients in need. Thank you to all who participated in this event!
