UCLL- A local resource for intensive language and literacy programs for children, teens, and adults
UCLL’s state-of-the-art speech-language and literacy programs are designed for children, teens, and adults who have delays or disabilities in the understanding and use of oral language, reading, spelling, writing, or social skills. Our specialty is oral language, which can be the primary deficit area of many disorders. These include diagnoses such as dyslexia, hyperlexia, specific learning disabilities, and central auditory processing disorders. We also provide services for children and teens with pragmatic language deficits– those children who need help developing social skills and making friends. We can also help children who have attention deficit disorders, phonological processing problems, apraxia, and oral motor problems.
