Strategies for Academic Success (SAS) provides a 1-week intensive opportunity for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to improve their study skills and learn strategies towards independent learning. SAS targets organizational skills, listening, writing, reading, and assisted technology skills.
Teens who might benefit from attending SAS are those with diagnoses of language disability, dyslexia, specific learning disability, attention deficit disorders, or Asperger’s Syndrome; those with 504 plans; or those who have difficulty organizing their schoolwork and school day.
