DyslexiaHelp is UCLL's most recently developed website,
designed to help you learn about dyslexia and related
language-based learning disabilities. Oral language provides the
foundation for learning to read, spell, and write; therefore,
dyslexiahelp.umich.edu
is focused on language disability in addition to the reading
disabilities associated with dyslexia.
The development of
DyslexiaHelp was made
possible by a very generous donation to UCLL. We are very grateful
for this financial support and, of course, the opportunity to help
those of you with dyslexia.
Not only is the website a valuable resource for individuals
with dyslexia, but it's a wealth of information for parents and
professionals, also. Our goal is to help everyone with the
privilege to work with dyslexics gain new understandings about
dyslexia and language disabilities, including current research
findings and how to design intervention contexts based on best
practices.
