New Social Language Story

Reading together is a great way to improve the amount and quality of your child's language. Improving the amount and quality of the talk of many children with language problems can be accomplished in part through joint story telling. This is a fun activity that stimulates both understanding ("comprehension" or "receptive skills") and speaking ("production" or "expressive skills") and can be done by parents in their own homes. You just need to learn a few techniques! Read more about social stories.

Here you can choose to download a printer friendly PDF of "Maddie Shares Her Toys" or read the story directly on our website.
